Introducing
SHOCKERS ACADEMY
A Development Program for Rising 9u & 10u Players
We’re excited to announce the launch of Shockers Academy — a practice-oriented team built for motivated young players who want more out of their baseball development. The Academy is focused on skill building, fundamentals, and baseball IQ, giving players the coaching, structure, and extra reps they’re looking for.
Our goal is to fill the gap between recreational ball and travel baseball — offering a development path without committing to a full travel schedule. The Academy is designed to be supplemental to MCLL rec baseball, not a replacement for it.
How It Works
- Players compete in Montgomery County Little League Fall and Spring Baseball
- 1–2 Academy practices per week focused on skill building and development
- A limited number of scrimmage games
- No tournament play

Shockers Academy is a great fit for motivated 9u and 10u players who want more training and development beyond just the 1–2 days a week of rec baseball — all while staying part of the Montgomery County Little League family.
